We will continue our trip traveling 80 km to the charming city of Taxco, in the state of Guerrero, also known as the City of Silver. Here, you will explore a replica of a mine to understand the relevance of mining in viceregal times and its impact today. Taxco became one of the first mining centers more than 400 years ago.
After the visit to the mine, you will enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant, where you can taste a variety of typical dishes of the region. Next, you will walk through the picturesque cobbled streets of Taxco, arriving at the emblematic church of Santa Prisca, a stunning example of Churrigueresque baroque architecture.
